Ordering And Other Information


    The insects are shown in groups only as reference. Each price shown on the below list is for a single insect in a finished shadowbox. To find the price of an insect, note the number next to the insect's picture and refer to the below list. The shadowboxes are made with fine hardwood ash, with a satin lacquer finish and with glass on the front and the back. Each insect's scientific name and place of origin is printed in elegant script writing on a label fastened to the back of the shadowbox. On some types, there is a price range shown (ie. $84-$104). Price can be effected by a specimen's size or coloring. A "W" next to the species code number, means wings spread (most beetle types are available with their wings spread, at a slightly higher price). "N/A" in the price column, means not available, at this time. The ORIGIN column shows the country or region of the world, from which that species originated. An explanation of the ORIGIN codes is at the bottom of the price list. In the reference photos of the insects, in these pages, many are shown with pins. There are no pins in the insects, in the finish products. Also, some of the insect specimens shown are not perfect. The photo images are just for reference. The insects, once in the shadowboxes, are perfect, as can be seen here on the "Shadowboxes" page. An elegant "pickled" white lacquered finish is also available for an additional charge (see example on "Shadowboxes" page). To place an order, please call. Shipping cost is additional. Allow 2-4 weeks for delivery (although I am usually able to accommodate rush orders). Payment can be made with a personal check or money order. Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed. If for any reason at all you are not happy with your purchase, it can be returned for an immediate replacement, credit or refund. Simply call within one week of receiving any item, to arrange this.
